Zhiguang Completes 600 MWh High-Voltage Delivery in Eastern Guangdong

Recently, Guangzhou Zhiguang Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. has delivered complete equipment sets for the Jieyang Pengxin Independent Energy Storage Station and the Meizhou Pingyuan Phase II Independent Energy Storage Station. Production at the workshop is busy and well-organized. With a total capacity of 600 MWh, the two projects mark further progress in Zhiguang Energy Storage’s industrial deployment in South China, injecting new momentum into renewable energy consumption and grid regulation capability in eastern Guangdong.


Scaled Implementation of Dual Projects

The Jieyang Pengxin project includes 72 battery containers and 8 grid-connection cabins, while the Meizhou Pingyuan Phase II project consists of 36 battery containers and 4 grid-connection cabins. Both projects adopt Zhiguang Energy Storage’s independently developed cascaded high-voltage, large-capacity energy storage system. Through a highly integrated outdoor prefabricated cabin architecture that combines battery clusters, cascaded PCS, full liquid-cooling thermal management, and intelligent fire protection, the system achieves comprehensive enhancements in energy efficiency and safety levels.


Technology Enabling Grid Security

As large-scale application projects of cascaded high-voltage energy storage technology, once completed they will not only provide rapid frequency regulation and peak-shaving support for the eastern Guangdong power grid, but also generate key data for the standardization and commercialization of new energy storage technologies, offering a practical reference for energy security in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.


Zhiguang’s Delivery Capability Further Strengthened

Despite the delivery pressure from numerous project orders this year, Zhiguang Energy Storage has achieved stable monthly production output exceeding 800 MWh through optimized manufacturing processes, strengthened supply chain coordination, and enhanced intelligent production capabilities—ensuring precise and efficient multi-project parallel delivery. Automated production lines are operating smoothly on site, with each process—from cell sorting and module stacking to PACK integration, system assembly, and commissioning—strictly following international quality standards to ensure system safety and stability.

As equipment for the Jieyang and Meizhou projects successively arrives on site, Zhiguang Energy Storage’s technical team has already begun installation guidance and commissioning preparations. Looking ahead, Zhiguang Energy Storage will continue accelerating the industrial-scale deployment of cascaded high-voltage, large-capacity energy storage systems. Through digitalized factory development and continuous technological innovation, the company will provide more reliable energy storage solutions for the construction of a new power system.
