Recently, 2025 Green and Safe Port Conference—jointly hosted by the China Ports & Harbors Association and Jiangsu Port Group Co., Ltd.—convened in Nanjing. The event brought together leading industry experts and decision-makers to discuss strategic pathways for advancing green port ecosystems and enhancing integrated safety management across the sector.

During the release and awarding ceremony of the national “Green Port” rating results, several major terminals supported in their energy transition by ZG-SPS Shore Power System from Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Technology Co., Ltd. Zhiguang Shore Power System is built on a variable-frequency power supply architecture and integrates nine functional subsystems, delivering optimized end-to-end power supply from grid access to ship interface.

Its multi-pulse phase-shifting rectification technology ensures exceptional power quality, maintaining output voltage harmonics below 3% even without filtering—far surpassing industry benchmarks.

Its seamless ship-to-shore synchronization and switching technology provides one-click 50/60Hz dual-frequency conversion to meet varying vessel requirements. Designed for demanding port environments, the system features ten layers of safety protection and precision voltage and frequency regulation, enabling full-capacity stable output under voltage variations between 85% and 115%. An intelligent thermal management system supports stable performance across diverse climates. With dual-side power unit layouts and both air-cooled and water-cooled options—enhanced by Zhiguang’s long-established expertise in thermal engineering—the system ensures long-term reliability in complex operating scenarios.

The award-winning terminals span operational scenarios including bulk cargo, coal handling, and container operations.
