On November 4, a grand signing ceremony was held at the Zhiguang Comprehensive Energy Industrial Park between Beikong Power (Guangdong) Co. Ltd. (short as BKDL) ) and Xidu (Guangdong) Power Investment Co., Ltd. (short as Xidu Power) , where Sun Di, Chairman of BKDL, and Wu Wenzhong, Vice President of Zhiguang Electric and Chairman of Xidu Power, as the signing representatives formally started the business cooperation between the two parties in the project of Qingyuan Independent Energy Storage Power Station.
Xidu Power, as a holding subsidiary of Zhiguang Electric, has made remarkable achievements in the development of energy storage in recent years. The 200MW/400MWh Guangdong Qingyuan Independent Energy Storage Project is the largest independent energy storage power station in Guangdong Province, and this cooperation is aimed at taking the Qingyuan Independent Energy Storage Project as a replicable demonstration benchmark to build another super-large independent energy storage power station in the same area.
The cooperative project will be implemented at a higher level than the current national standard requirements, ahead of the planning, after completion, will participate in the frequency regulation market, improve the reliability and stability of the surrounding power supply, inject surging momentum into local economic development, and provide important references for the industry in the construction and operation of super large independent storage facilities, which is of milestone significance.
The successful signing of this cooperation agreement is a new breakthrough for Zhiguang Electric in the construction scale, technical practice, and economic benefits of independent energy storage projects. In the future, Zhiguang Electric will continue to plough into the field of energy storage and accelerate the development of the new quality of productivity, to create more demonstration projects, joining hands with all parties to create a brilliant and bright future and opening a new chapter.
